Isn't it surprising that Taare Zameen Par(TZP) which have got many awards so far for the best picture has not been included in the IIFA award. Shatrughan Sinha has charged Amitabh bachchan for some partiality which Amitabh has vehemently opposed in his blog by saying that Shatru and his wife did some favour in the past to help Raveena get the national award.Now it is strange that dono ek doosre ko chor bata rahe hain...But even if Amitabh's allegation is correct the fact remains that a film like TZP couldn't be nominated. Amitabh says that a reputed firm Price waterhouse cooper has selected the nominations by using computerised system but still it is clear that there must be some other reason than simply voting because it is unimaginable that a film which is acclaimed by critics and common peple alike can possibly be sidelined.

Incidentally it may be mentioned  that on the eve of the release of TZP, Aamir aired his views against the characterisation of Black which Amitabh didn't like. That criticism made him quite upset. Although Aamir later apologised yet it seems Amitabh had not forgotten that and  retaliated in this fashion. Amitabh is a living legend and a very big actor so he must have a big dil also.Aisi choti harkat use shobha nahin deti..He must have fond out how TZP has been ignored but it seems it has been done on his behest. It is this faulty system which forced Aamir to stay away from such award functions. By sidelining such a quality film, IIFA has definitely lost some of its credibility.
